The summer can definitely be a busy time of year and we have a couple of changes this month to try to fit everything in!
The first event in July is a trip to Tokia Square, Croydon's new Asian food hall, on Wednesday 2nd July (7pm, free). This is on the first floor of Grants and features a large communal seating area surrounded by counters offering food from all across Asia - China, Japan, Korea, Thailand, India and more are represented with a wide variety of dishes.

Next is our regular monthly trip to The Green Dragon on Tuesday 8th July (7pm, free). It provides a great opportunity to mingle and chat for both newcomers and regulars, and has a broad drink selection and tasty pub grub. We're usually here from 6:30pm until closing time so if you can't make it for the start time, don't worry and feel free to pop in whenever you can make it.

It's the Ciderdog festival at The Miller on Saturday 12th July (12pm, free). This pub is a short walk from London Bridge railway station and is London's largest cider festival, with 100 different ciders and perries available for just £4 a pint, so well worth venturing out of Croydon for!

The next drink, nibble and chat event returns to one of Croydon's best pubs at The Oval Tavern on Thursday 17th July (7pm, free). With its outdoor garden area this is a perfect place to meet up in the warmer weather, along with its great food and drink selection.

Brunch club then returns to the Coach House Café on Saturday 19th July (11am, £2) for more opportunities for al fresco dining and mingling. This bistro restaurant is situated in the heart of Coombe Wood and is a short tram ride away from the town centre and provides a great selection of breakfasts.

For our end-of-the-month dinner club we'll be visiting Abshar on Tuesday 29th July (7pm, £2). This is a Persian restaurant that is under new management since we last visited and the reviews online are glowing so we're looking forwards to trying it out again!
