Thank you to everyone who came along to an event in May! As we head into the summer, here are some events we have lined up for June.
First up is our regular trip to The Green Dragon on Tuesday 10th June (7pm, free). This great pub in Croydon's town centre offers a broad drink selection and tasty pub grub, and is a great opportunity to mingle and chat whether you're a new member or have been coming for years! We're usually here from 6:30pm until closing time so if you can't make it for the start time, don't worry and feel free to pop in whenever you can make it.

We kick off the following weekend with a trip to Ayat Kitchen Lounge for brunch on Saturday 14th June (11am, £2). This is in South End's restaurant quarter, and offers an excellent selection of breakfasts - in addition to an English fry up there's also an American and Mediterranean options (the latter of which is a personal favourite!)

Following that we'll head over to The Hope in Carshalton for drinks on the same afternoon of Saturday 14th June (2pm, free). This is a little further out but well worth the trip as the popular and friendly pub has won CAMRA's "Greater London Pub Of The Year" award six times and has been announced as Sutton & Croydon Pub Of The Year 2025.

The following week is another opportunity to meet and mingle over drinks and nibbles at The Builders Arms on Tuesday 19th June (7pm, free). This friendly traditional pub has a pleasant garden area, too, so if the weather is fine then it's a perfect place to spend the evening (and if not, it's still lovely indoors!)

Towards the end of the month we'll be dining out at Aachi's Indian Cuisine on Tuesday 24th June (7pm, £2). This restaurant in the town centre serves authentic South Indian dishes and has been very well reviewed, so we're looking forwards to trying it out!
