We had great month of events in April, so thank you to all our members for making them a success! We've got another set of events lined up for May, so here's a quick rundown...
Our first event is a curry at Raja Tandoori in Caterham on the Hill on Bank Holiday Monday 5th May (7pm, £2). This is a gem of an Indian restaurant, if something of a time capsule - a traditional British curry house with a delicious selection of dishes. The following weekend we'll be heading over to the Coach House Café for brunch on Saturday 10th May (11am, £2). This popular café has a solid selection of breakfasts, sandwiches, wraps and panini along with cakes and more substantial main meals. Our stroll will eventually take us to the Golden Ark for drinks in Selsdon that same Saturday 10th May afternoon (2pm, free). This is a friendly micropub that has a broad variety of interesting drinks: real ales, craft beers and ciders, with more besides. https://www.meetup.com/croydoneatsout/events/307495387/
Another well-stocked venue is The Green Dragon where we'll be heading for pub grub on Tuesday 13th May (7pm, free). We hold a regular monthly event there and it's always a great evening - a great opportunity to mingle, and the informal approach makes it good for newcomers to meet the group and longer-term members to catch up. Next is the Drinks and Nibbles event on Thursday 22nd May, this month held at The Crown in Shirley (7pm, free). Our final scheduled event of the month is Dinner Club at Mazu Restaurant in Coulsdon on Tuesday 27th May (7pm, £2).
