Thank you to everyone who came to our events in March! We had some very fun Meetups and are looking forwards to meeting up again in April.
Our first event this month is our regular trip to The Green Dragon on Tuesday 8th April (7pm, free). This is for pub grub and/or drinks - it's a casual event and a great one to mingle and chat at, so good for first-timers as well as regular members of the group. The following Saturday 12th April is our monthly Brunch Club event - this time we'll be going slightly further afield to DD's Café in Coulsdon (11am, £2). This family-run café offers a good range of tasty breakfasts to start off the weekend, and once fueled up there's a planned walk in the nearby Banstead Woods for those who wish to join us. https://www.meetup.com/croydoneatsout/events/306789285/
After the brunch and walk on Saturday 12th April we'll be dropping in to The Woodman in Woodmansterne for drinks (4pm, free). This is a pleasant country pub near Banstead with bus links from central Croydon. https://www.meetup.com/croydoneatsout/events/306789378/
If you prefer short walks and multiple pubs to a long walk with one pub, we'll have our Good Friday pub crawl on Friday 18th April (1pm, free). We've planned a route with eight pubs and will be updating the event page on the day with our current location. Following that on Thursday 24th April is Drink, Nibble, Chat at Whelans (7pm, free). Another great opportunity to mingle over food and drink, this month's venue is the always-popular Whelans in South Croydon. https://www.meetup.com/croydoneatsout/events/306629293/
Our last scheduled event for April is Dinner Club at Ponte Nuovo on Tuesday 29th April (7pm, £2). This establishment tucked under the flyover is currently the top-rated restaurant in Croydon according t Tripadvisor and we've always had a good meal here so are looking forwards to paying it another visit. https://www.meetup.com/croydoneatsout/events/307111229/
