Hello! We hope you had a good July - we certainly enjoyed seeing a lot of our members, and are looking forwards to seeing more of you in August. Here's what we've got lined up...
We start with brunch club at the Coach House Café on Saturday 8th August (11am, £2). This is one of our favourite spots for brunch, with their tasty breakfasts and the pleasant surroundings of Coombe Wood.

After that we'll be heading over to the Dark Horse pub in Selhurst (also Saturday 8th August, 3pm, free). This pub has recently celebrated its first anniversary and has been awarded Croydon's CAMRA's branch pub of the year for 2026 so we think it's well worth paying it a visit.

We then return to the Green Dragon on Tuesday 11th August (7pm, free) for our monthly visit there. As well as the usual pub grub on offer they have a great selection of beers and ciders and this friendly pub has long been one of our favourites in Croydon.

Just down the road from there is The Dog, where we'll be visiting on Thursday 20th August (7pm, free) for drinks, nibbles and chat. This friendly traditional pub on Surrey Street has a large outdoor area so a perfect spot to spend socialising on a warm summer evening.

Last but not least, dinner club will be heading to Enish on Tuesday 25th August (7pm, £2). This Nigerian restaurant has been on South End for a few years now so it's high time we gave it a try, particularly following a member's recommendation.
