Thank you to everyone who came along to events in June! We've got quite a few events planned for July, so here's a reminder of what's coming up:
Firstly is a trip out to the Ciderdog Festival at the Miller Pub near London Bridge on Saturday 11th July (12-6pm, free). This is outside our usual radius but it's always been a fun afternoon out, with 100 different ciders and perries at £4/pint. Sadly this looks like it could be the last ever Ciderdog, so don't miss it!

We had to miss our trip to the Green Dragon Pub last month but on Tuesday 14th July we'll be back (7pm, free). They're under new management and have a new menu but the same staff are behind the bar so we're looking forwards to finding what else is new at what has always been one of our favourite pubs in Croydon.

The following weekend is brunch club at Marmaris Cafe on Saturday 18th July (11am, £2). This popular and well-reviewed café in South Croydon has been recommended to us both on the strength of the food and its proximity to Riddlesdown Common, where we plan to head out for a walk afterwards.

On the other side of Riddlesdown Common is The Radius Arms in Whyteleafe where we'll be enjoying some drinks on the same Saturday 18th July (3pm, free). This cosy and quirky micropub has a great drink selection and is a friendly spot to rest, and can easily be reached from central Croydon on public transport if you're not joining us after brunch.

Finally, we're looking forwards to trying out Honeymoon Restaurant on Tuesday 28th July (7pm, £2). This is a recent addition to South End's restaurant quarter where it's been receiving rave reviews for its South Indian & Sri Lankan cuisine - currently ranked 1st or 3rd out of all Croydon restaurants on TripAdvisor, depending on which page you're looking at!
