Happy New Year to all of our members old and new!
Our first event of 2025 is brunch club on Saturday 11th January (11am, £2). We'll be going to the Coach House Café, a bistro restaurant situated in the heart of the beautiful Coombe Wood. Not only do they provide a tasty breakfast but (weather permitting!) this gives us a chance for a pleasant stroll around the surrounding area afterwards, and it's a short walk from the Lloyd Park tram stop to reach the venue. https://www.meetup.com/croydoneatsout/events/305209545/
Following that is a drinks event on the same afternoon, where we'll be dropping into Riff Raffs bar on George Street (2pm, free). It's a very friendly bar that offers a range of craft beers, ciders as well as teas and coffees; it also has a vinyl record and vintage clothing store in the basement. https://www.meetup.com/croydoneatsout/events/305298606/
On Tuesday 14th January (7pm, free) is our monthly return to The Green Dragon for its pub grub and its excellent drink selection. This is always a great opportunity to mingle and we're usually there until closing so if you can't make the start time, no need to worry - people do pop in throughout the evening and it's a rather more casual event. https://www.meetup.com/croydoneatsout/events/305255807/
On the following Thursday 23rd January (7pm, free) is the Drink, Nibble, Chat event held this month at Crown & Pepper, a lounge/bar/restaurant that serves a delicious selection of Indian and Chinese dishes. Rounding out the month is Dinner Club on Tuesday 28th January (7pm, £2), one of our more formal sit-down meals. This month we'll be attending Ayat Mediterranean Kitchen Lounge; it's one of our favourite brunch spots, but this will give us a chance to savour more of their menu.
