As it continues to be a popular venue our first trip in September is to Tokia Square on Thursday 4th September (7pm, free). This is an Asian food hall on the first floor of Grants: China, Japan, Korea, Thailand, India and more are represented.

Following that is our monthly trip to The Green Dragon for pub grub on Tuesday 9th September (7pm, free). This is an opportunity to mingle over tasty food and to explore their large selection of drinks. It's one of our favourite pubs in Croydon and provides a great way to meet new people and to catch up with regulars and we're usually there until closing.

Brunch club returns to Ayat Kitchen Lounge on Saturday 13th September (11am, £2). Their Mediterranean breakfast is probably the best in Croydon, alongside their American and traditional English offerings. A good way to kick off the weekend!

That same afternoon it's the Caterham Round Table Beer Festival, held at Soper Hall on Saturday 13th September (2pm, ticketed event). We'll be catching a bus there after the previous brunch club. Previous visits have provided a good selection of beers, ales, lagers and ciders, plus a wine and spirits bar alongside hot food.

Further opportunities to meet up over a drink (and nibbles) will be at The Treehouse on Thursday 18th September (7pm, free). This is a cosy pub with great food and a good selection of drinks and cocktails.

A recent addition to South End's restaurant quarter is Butt Karahi, a famous Pakistani Karahi house that has been opening branches in the UK. Food reviews look good so we're looking forwards to checking it out for our dinner club on Tuesday 23rd September (7pm, £2) to round off the month.
